Saint Joseph Parent Association

The Saint Joseph Parent Association (SJPA) supports our students, faculty, staff and community. Upon enrollment of your high school student(s), every parent is considered a member of SJPA. The SJPA board meets the second Tuesday of every month at 6:30 pm in the conference room next to the Evans Theater, but with a few exceptions — see the school calendar for exact dates. Parents are always invited and encouraged to attend. Events include teacher luncheons, back to school night, drive-in for donuts, and 12 days of Christmas.

Parent Involvement Program

The Parent Involvement Program, (PIP) for both Saint Joseph schools is combined is tracked on one spreadsheet. The PIP spreadsheet is organized by student name; all students from the same family are grouped together. If you have more than one student attending Saint Joseph schools, you only need to enter one student’s name and grade on the sheet. 

Family PIP obligation is 20 hours for your first student plus four hours for each additional student attending either Saint Joseph school. Your PIP financial obligation is calculated at $25 for each PIP hour not worked. PIP hour status reports are sent home with the oldest child in each family.

The New Parent Survival Guide will help address questions you may have and even some you don’t know yet. We’ve done our best to compile all things St. Joe related, but please reach out if there is something that you need further clarification on.
