    In order to be considered for acceptance to St. Joseph Catholic High School, the following requirements must be met, along with an application. 

    1. Completed School International students Application. Visit this page to complete it online. 

    2. Registration Fee of $200 **NON-REFUNDABLE

    3. English Proficiency Test preferred but not required: We accept ITEP-SLATE, TOEFL, TOEFL JUNIOR, IELTS, SLEP, SSAT, DUOLINGO

    4. Original Transcripts: Two to three years of academic records from the previous school. Please email an electronic copy to Alexis Salvo,

    5. School Interview: Skype or Zoom Interview with Saint Joseph Admissions Officer


    1. Recommendation Letter: One letter of recommendation from a teacher or counselor from your current school. 

    2. Acceptance Letter: This will be issued by St. Joseph Catholic High School. We will email an electronic copy and Fed-Ex an original to be used as a document for your visa application. 

    3. Management Deposit of $5,000: international money order or credit card. This will then be applied to the tuition contract. The deposit must be received by July 1st to guarantee a spot.

    4. Copy of Immunization Records – The State of Utah requires any student attending school in our state to be current with their immunizations. Please check the State of Utah website for their requirements.

    5. TB Test Certificate or Tuberculosis Screening

    6. Official I-20: The school will (ADD) email an electronic copy and Fed-Ex an original for the visa application. 

    7. F-1 Visa: Passport scan of your profile and F-1 Visa pages must be sent to the school by you or your agent

    8. Payment of Full Tuition: International Money Order or Credit Card. Tuition must be paid in full by August 1st

    9. Medical Liability Release Form: Completed as part of the application. 


    1. Pay the accommodation fee: 10 months of housing with a  host family or dormitory fee

    2. International Student Insurance: You must purchase health insurance before you enter the United States. Please email your health insurance card to

    3. Host Family Confirmation: Your family will receive host family information including contact numbers, address, and email as soon as the school receives your deposit or confirmation from your agency

    4. Arrival Confirmation: We will follow up with student flight information and host family pick-up. Please, email your flight confirmation and information two weeks prior to your arrival in the United States.
