Mrs. Starr grew up on a farm in Oregon with three older brothers, and too many animals to count. She was a professional dancer (Tap and Schootich Highland) for 12 years, and still considers dance her “first love”. She attended Southern Oregon University graduating with a Bachelors of Science and moved to Utah to attend Westminster College where she received her Masters in Teaching. Mrs. Starr is excited to bring HOSA to St. Josephs and would love to talk with all who are interested in the healthcare field! She has four children and an amazing
husband who is in the Utah National Guard. When she is not teaching, chasing her own kids, or dancing you will find her in the barn with her animals. She is the girliest tomboy you will ever meet and truly believes that you can be anything you are willing to work hard enough to achieve.
